Dieter Engelen

Dieter Engelen is CEO and co-founder of Finvision and has more than 30 years of experience in audit, accounting, tax, consolidation and IFRS. He started his carreer as an auditor at Arthur Andersen (1996-2002) and continued at Deloitte (2002-2009), where he was appointed audit director in 2007. In 2009, he co-founded Finvision. Since 2010, he has served as a board member of Voka West Flanders.Dieter holds a degree in Applied Economics from KU Leuven (1990-1995) and a postgraduate degree in Auditing from the University of Mons-Hainaut (1995-1996). He also completed a postgraduate degree in Taxation at Vlekho-Brugge Business School (2007). He has been a certified statutory auditor (IBR/IRE- since 2003 and a certified external accountant (ITAA) since 2017.As CEO, Dieter is responsible for defining and implementing Finvision's strategic direction, overseeing the overall management of the firm, and maintaining and developing relationships with key (prospective) clients.
